Director of Residential Services

TCRC is a not-for-profit social service agency serving adults with developmental disabilities in Tazewell County.

TCRC currently has an opening for a Residential Director/QIDP who is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Residential Services in the management and coordination of the Residential Program and providing case management services to the individuals' served.

For entry into this position the individual must have knowledge of developmental disabilities, mental illness, human development and the aging process. Knowledge of behavioral interventions is helpful.

The individual must possess the ability to make independent decisions and be adaptive to a non-routine work schedule. The individual should possess knowledge regarding psychotropic medications and psychiatric diagnoses. Knowledge of DHS, DPA, Social Security, and CQL standards is preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Service field or related field. Four years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; experience working in a residential setting, experience in case management and administrative/supervisory experience is preferred. Must be able to pass various background checks. Individual must have a valid driver's license and up to date personal automobile insurance coverage. Individual must meet TCRC's commercial insurer's criteria as an acceptable insured driver.
