Agency Registered Nurse

TCRC, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that provides services and support for persons with developmental disabilities.

TCRC currently has an opening for an Agency Registered Nurse.  This is a full-time position working primarily in our Residential program.

The successful applicant must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois and should have at least two years' nursing experience.  Having worked with persons with developmental disabilities is very helpful.  Must be able to be trained and become an RN-Nurse Trainer, as recognized by the Illinois Department of Human Services. 

The individual must be able to medically assess individuals' health, teach individuals with varying cognitive levels, document observations correctly and concisely, insert, obtain, and implement physician's orders, The individual must have the ability to be on-call as a resource to residential staff regarding medication related issues.

Individual must have a valid driver's license and up to date personal automobile insurance coverage.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and pass various criminal and other background checks.
